The Sound files on this page were recorded utilizing matched pairs of the Berliner CM33 microphone. They were recorded and mixed with NO PROCESSING whatsoever!

Demonstrating the CM33's on a Yamaha C7 Grand Piano with some BEAUTIFUL performances!

The wav files below (Clarence, Steve & John) were recorded in Studio D at Westlake Audio in Los Angeles. Some of the photos below indicate mic placement. Each session utilized preamps in the Neve VR with no compression or EQ. Monitoring was done through the Genelec 1031's as well as the Westlake SM-1's. Additional info in available by request.
